Fife Sailability
Fife Sailablity
DIRECTIONS AND
Fancy getting involved or trying sailing?
We have club days every second Saturday throughout the season with the first session at 10.00 am and the last one at 3.00 pm. You can phone the watersports centre on 01592 583388 to book a taster session. We hope you will like it so much that you will go on to become a member!
After an hour or so session it’s back to dry land for a warm drink. You may like to bring a packed lunch with you and take the opportunity to chat to other sailors and volunteers in our Fife Sailability shelter.
While we are qualified in providing sailing for the disabled, we are unable to provide personal care. Should you require personal care you should bring your carer, or assistant, with you and we would hope to be able to involve them in sailing.
Got the bug? Come along again and improve your sailing skills. Not sure whether it is for you? Come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere while you decide. Or contribute to Fife Sailability in a supporting role. Either way we really hope you had a great day and we look forward to seeing you again.

Membership Costs
As we are run 100% by volunteers and are a charity, all money raised goes on the activities, kit and boats. We are funded by a mixture of sailing membership fees and donations. We keep the sailing fees as low as we can to make ourselves accessible to as many people as possible and rely on donations to make up the rest.
Please support us to allow us to keep the charges low and maintain the activities we can offer. All donations are gratefully received, either a one-off donation or a regular monthly amount
Annual membership is £75 (£35 for juniors) which covers you for as many sessions as you can manage to attend. However, we believe cost should never be a barrier to anyone getting out on the water, so do contact us by email to talk to us if this is an issue.
Additional and Non-Disabled Sessions
Outside these times groups can often be accommodated by special arrangements. This can be either Sailabilty or Powerability sessions. These vary from primary schools to care homes, aged from nine to ninety. Give us a call on 07785 926305 and we will try to tailor a session to your needs. We usually ask for a donation of £60 for a two hour session.
